Bozeman’s own Stephanie Quayle joined Dave Wooten on the KSKY Morning Show, just days before another special appearance on one of country music’s most famous stages.
Quayle will perform Saturday night at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, where she’ll be part of a lineup that includes The Oak Ridge Boys, Mark Wills and John Conlee.
This appearance will carry some extra emotion following the recent loss of country music legend Dolly Parton. Quayle plans to perform two songs with special connections to Dolly, including “Drinking With Dolly,” and “The Seeker,” the title track from Quayle’s brand-new album.
The Seeker, a 10-song album released Friday, August 28, takes its name from the Dolly Parton song that Quayle re-recorded for the project.
Quayle talked about the new album, what it means to once again step into the famous Opry circle, and the significance of honoring Dolly through music on that stage.
