Montana Governor Greg Gianforte joined me on the KSKY Morning Show Thursday morning, and one of the big topics was something getting plenty of attention across cattle country — President Trump’s recent decision to increase beef imports into the United States.
For Montana, this isn’t just another story coming out of Washington. Ranching is a major part of our economy, our communities and our way of life. With cattle prices, grocery prices and the future of the American beef industry all part of the conversation, I wanted to hear directly from the governor.
I asked Governor Gianforte what he thinks about the president’s decision and, more importantly, what it could mean for Montana ranchers.
