Montana Trooper David DeLaittre lost his life in the line of duty on December 1, 2010, just outside Three Forks Montana. Today, at the spot were Trooper DeLaittre was shot, there is a memorial dedicated to him and every other Montana trooper who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
As you can imagine, it takes money to keep the memorial maintained for the thousands of people who visit it each year. To that end, Denny DeLaittre, David’s father, is holding a gun raffle. There will be 50 drawings in all, which includes 42 firearms, 6 gun safes, 1 Black Hawk optical package, and 1 Langley Munitions ammo package. Drawings are being held every day in September, with four additional drawings leading up to Sept 1. On Sept 1, 17 prizes will be awarded.
If you would like to get a raffle ticket or see all of the prizes you can win visit MontanaMemorial.org.
This years money raised will also go towards building The Deputy Mason Moore Pavilion at the memorial site.
